Christopher Wood

Christopher trained at Edinburgh College of Art, graduating with
an Honours degree in Drawing & Painting in 1984. He has been a full-time professional artist since his first one-man exhibition in Edinburgh 1987. He became an elected member of the RSW in 2006 and is very involved in many of the Scottish Artistic Societies. He is a regular exhibitor at the Societies’ annual open exhibitions at which he has won many awards in recognition of the standard of his work. His work is included in many prestigious public and private collections including HRH Prince Charles the Duke of Rothesay; the Bank of Scotland; Aberdeen Asset Management; United Distillers; Edinburgh University; Lennox Lewis; The Demarco European Foundation; and many other private and corporate collections around the world. He is married with two young children and two stepchildren. He lives and works in the coastal town of Dunbar, near Edinburgh.
