Born in Sussex and now living near John O'Groats in the Scottish Highlands, Kitty worked as a screenprinter in North Wales and a commercial artist in London before moving to Scotland in 1982. She learned to etch at Peacock Printmakers, Aberdeen in the mid-eighties.  In 1997 she moved with her husband, also an artist, to a remote croft in the Highlands of Scotland, where they farm and manage a smallholding leading 'the good life'. Her intricate etchings reflect her immersion in the natural world and the timelsess beauty of the landscape.
