Biography

Kim studied Fashion and Textile Design at Saint Martin's School of Art in London graduating in 1992. She set up in business initially working with printed textiles and then handmade paper, until she re-trained in techniques for kiln-formed glass. Drawing inspiration from the landscape, the colours of Scotland's west coast continue to infuse her work, despite having lived in France since 2015. Her studio is based at her home, a converted milking parlour set in a rural community in south western Brittany.
