Biography
Wenna Crockatt

Wenna trained at Birmingham Polytechnic and has been a studio potter since the late '70's. She uses stoneware clay to build each individual piece, often marking the surface to give it texture and interest. The original stoneware colour is enhanced with oxides and slips as well as a small amount of glaze. Her figurative work often features fishermen and boats, whilst the landscape is reflected in her bowls and looser forms.
