Lorna Crawford is a mixed media artist living and working in Aberdeen. She re-kindled her love of painting after moving from Edinburgh to Aberdeen in 1989 and attending evening classes in art. Since then she has begun to develop her artistic career by attending a short printmaking course at Gray’s School of Art and several residential courses at Bridge House Art in Ullapool under the directorship of Eleanor White, and various workshops in and around Aberdeen. Inspired by the Scottish landscapes, Lorna uses a variety of mediums which include watercolour, acrylic, pen and ink, printing and collage. Lorna has successfully participated in the North East Open Studios for a number of years, is a member of the Aberdeen Artists Society, the Northern Arts Club and Stonehaven Art Club.
