Bruce Swanson is an artist and jewellery maker based in Aberdeen. His practice centres on jewellery-making while encompassing drawing, painting, silversmithing, printmaking and digital making techniques. His work is project based and the art works presented for SQUARING UP are snapshots from a multi-year project to explore prehistoric art in North West Europe. Inspired by the artefacts made in prehistory such as jewellery and pottery made by people just like us today who inhabited a completely different world - one that is re-imagined in these images.
