I have been a member of AAS for nearly 20 years and have exhibited many times in their annual exhibitions. I have been showing my work in galleries throughout the north east for approximately the same time. I have also recently exhibited in Edinburgh at the VAS 30 x 30 annual show. The highlight of the year was getting a mention in the Times newspaper’s review of the show in February. I paint mainly seascapes and treescapes. Inspiration comes from my daily walks along the shore near where I live and the forests of Deeside.
