Sandra Johnston is a born and bred Aberdonian. She studied at Grays School of Art and attained a Fine Art Honours degree specializing in painting and an MA in Art and Design. She currently works at Wasps studios in Aberdeen. She uses nature and the landscape (particularly Scotland) as her inspiration. Although primarily an oil painter she experiments with water based mixed media, mark making and recycled prints on handmade papers.
