Pam Carter

Shortly after graduation from Glasgow School of Art, Tanzanian born artist Pam Carter travelled to the Seychelles to teach, it didn't take long before she realised the direction her painting was going to take. Excited by the vibrant hues of blues and greens of the Indian Ocean, Pam knew that from now on her paintings would express the relationship between colour and light. Since then she has lived and worked in Scotland drawing on the isolated beauty of its outer islands for inspiration.
