Overview
Colour, texture, composition and light...three artists working in acrylc, oil and the medium of glass showcase their interpretation of the world around them.

This exhbiiton brings together the work of Ian Bashford, Fiona Sturrock and Elin Isaksson. Aberdeen-based Bashford's distinctive palette is employed to record local landmarks and the fleeting effects of transient light. Fiona Sturrock is best known to visitors for her vibrant still life compositions. For this exhibition in addition she captures the movement and character of birds and wildlife with deft strokes and charming compositions. She turns her eye to the Scottish landscape demonstrating her bold application of colour and paint.

Elin Isaksson continues to develop her range of forms and shapes. Her colour combinations are inspired by the Scottish landscape. For this exhibition we've collaborated with Manar House, Inverurie, to show how the glass can look in a domestic environment.
